Grandma Vivian came to stay with us this weekend and we sure have had a nice visit. Here are some pictures from our morning at the MacDonald Park Block Party… it was great fun! There was a bike parade and lots of good food and fun activities for the kids. Dexter painted a fish Jackson Pollock style, and it will displayed in the park. He also got to show off his new trike from Grandma & Grandpa Lambert which he loves!

We had a great visit with my folks this past week, Thanks so much for treating us to such a nice weekend away Grandma & Grandpa! Dexter was thrilled to go on the “Dig Boat” and go to “Nino”. He is saying lots of words and running away a lot. He also has become quite the artist, drawing squares and definite shapes. He likes to draw balloons, and lots of zig-zags. It makes me quite proud!

Dexter got to wish Opal a Happy Birthday this weekend, and it was so nice to see the Dressels again!
Dexter went straight for the Princesses, and licked the frosting off of them. I couldn’t even get him to eat any cake, all he wanted was princesses.

We had a great time down in Washington State with the Dressel family! We visited with Opal, Patrice, Paulina, Jackie & Marshall! Their house is amazing, and we had so much fun swimming, playing, visiting AND eating! Thanks so much for the great meal & great company! We will be back soon!
I didn’t get any shots of the two of them playing on the playground (Jackie & Marshall have a playground ON their property!) because Patrice, Paulina & I were out shopping, but this is the bath that followed a very active day and a very delicious meal. Look at their little feet touching together.
A little Elmo DVD entertainment. Totally transfixed.
That is the sound of my heart melting. Dexter tucks in for a little snuggle with Opal. Opal merely tolerates him.
